Terms of Service

Welcome to Premshetu. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Premshetu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By creating an account, downloading the app, buying coins, or otherwise using Premshetu, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms apply to the Premshetu website, iOS and Android applications, wallet and coin features, voice and video calls, AI matchmaking, human match advisors, and any related services we operate (together, the “Service”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use Premshetu on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. Who we are

The Service is operated by Premshetu Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (“Premshetu”, “we”, “us”).

3. Eligibility

You may use Premshetu only if you:

• are at least 18 years old;
• are legally able to enter a contract under the laws of India;
• are not barred from using dating or social networking services;
• have not been previously banned from Premshetu.

By using the Service you represent that the information you give us is true, that you will keep it up to date, and that you are using Premshetu for personal, non-commercial dating and social connection.

4. Your account

You must register with accurate details (including name, age, photos, and contact information). You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping login details confidential.

We may ask you to verify your identity, photos, or phone number. Verification does not mean we endorse a member or guarantee they are who they claim to be. We may refuse, limit, or reclaim usernames and profiles at our discretion.

You may not create an account for someone else, share your account, scrape the Service, or operate multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or payment rules.

5. The Premshetu service

Matching, chat, and calls

Premshetu offers profile discovery, AI-assisted matching, real-time chat, voice calls, video calls, gifts, date planning tools, and optional human match-advisor support. Features, rates, and availability may change.

AI features

Our AI matchmaker and recommendations use information you share (preferences, profile, and interaction patterns) to suggest people and guidance. AI output is automated and may be incomplete or unsuitable. You remain responsible for how you use suggestions and for your conversations with other members.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee matches, replies, call quality, advisor availability, or any romantic or social outcome. Compatibility scores and “verified” labels are tools, not warranties.

6. Coins and wallet

Premshetu Coins are a virtual wallet balance used inside the Service. Coins are not real money, legal tender, securities, or stored-value instruments. They have no cash value outside Premshetu and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged between users except as we expressly allow.

Typical uses include:

• Voice calls at the published rate (currently 10 coins per minute);
• Video calls at the published rate (currently 50 coins per minute);
• Gifts and other in-app features we may introduce.

Call charges deduct automatically while a call is connected. A started minute may be billed in full. If your balance runs out, the call may end. Rates, packs, and bonus coins can change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that purchase.

Unused coins remain in your wallet while your account is in good standing. Coins may expire, be forfeited, or be adjusted if we reasonably believe there was fraud, chargeback, abuse, or a billing error. Coins are generally non-refundable except where Indian law or an app-store policy requires otherwise.

7. Premium membership

Paid memberships may unlock extra features such as additional likes, profile insights, or other benefits described in the app. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through the store or method you used to subscribe, before the renewal date. Benefits last only while the subscription is active.

8. Payments and refunds

You may pay for coins or memberships through methods we support, including UPI, debit/credit cards, Paytm, PhonePe, and in-app purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processors and stores have their own terms. We do not store full card numbers when payment is handled by those providers.

Prices are typically shown in Indian Rupees (₹). Taxes may apply. Except where required by law or by Apple/Google refund rules:

• coin purchases are final once credited;
• consumed coins (for example, minutes already called) are not refundable;
• we may refuse a refund where we detect abuse, duplicate accounts, or chargebacks.

If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may deduct coins, suspend the account, and recover costs. For App Store or Play Store billing issues, request help from Apple or Google first.

9. Community standards

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, blackmail, or sexually exploit anyone;
• create a fake, underage, or impersonated profile;
• post illegal, hateful, or non-consensual intimate content;
• solicit money, crypto, or “investment” schemes from other members;
• spam, advertise, or recruit for commercial purposes without our written permission;
• record, screenshot, or distribute another person’s calls, photos, or messages without their consent, except as allowed by law;
• interfere with the Service, reverse engineer it, or bypass safety or payment systems;
• use Premshetu if you are a registered sex offender or have been convicted of a violent or sexual offence, where such use would be unlawful or unsafe.

We use a mix of AI and human moderation. We may remove content, limit features, or ban accounts that we believe violate these rules or put others at risk.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, text, and other material you upload (“User Content”). You grant Premshetu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content so we can operate, improve, and promote the Service (for example, showing your profile to other members).

You confirm you have the rights to the content you post, that it does not infringe others’ rights, and that people appearing in your photos have consented. We may remove User Content at any time.

11. Safety and in-person meetings

Premshetu is an online introduction service. Other members are not our employees or agents. We do not conduct criminal background checks on every user. Verification and moderation reduce risk; they do not eliminate it.

If you choose to meet someone in person:

• meet in a public place, tell a friend, and arrange your own transport;
• do not send money, OTPs, or identity documents;
• end any conversation or call that feels unsafe and report the profile in the app.

You use the Service and meet others at your own risk. We are not responsible for the conduct of members online or offline. Report emergencies to local authorities first, then to us at support@premshetu.com.

12. Intellectual property

The Premshetu name, logo, design, software, and all non-user content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by Indian intellectual property law. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.

13. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account in the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, we are required to by law, or we reasonably believe your account poses a safety, legal, or financial risk.

On termination, your licence to use the Service ends. Unused coins and remaining subscription time are not refundable unless the law requires it. Some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to handle disputes or legal claims).

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, error-free matching, or that other users are who they say they are. Network quality, device permissions, and third-party stores can affect calls and payments.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Premshetu and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress arising from your use of the Service, including interactions or meetings with other members.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such a limit is not allowed.

You agree to indemnify Premshetu against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganisation.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
